Heart Box- Green
These mini boxes start as a block of clay that I hollow out.
I use slip-trailing to add the raised design to the lid and then underglazes for the dots. They are finished off with heart-shaped rhinestones on top. A small object that goes through many steps.
As a kid, I was obsessed with boxes—the tinier, the better—and with everything shiny. These boxes are a gift to little me.
